Personally is a revolutionary brand created by Converge to bring dignity, information, and informed choice to patients of reproductive health care. 

Framed entirely from the perspective of patients, Personally cuts through jargon to talk about topics with vocabulary and interest informed by patients. Patients are guided through information on how to determine and advocate for their preferences in order to receive care that best incorporates into a patient's lfie.

The Personally website also hosts a completely customized Mississippi clinic finder that includes patient experience-friendly filtering so that patients can find providers close to them that also meet important preference needs.

Friends of Mississippi Hospitals is the PAC for the Mississippi Hospital Association. 

Trust in this organization depends on expertise in the political and medical realms, as well as friendliness around the Capitol, where legislative and policy business happens. We incorporated a clever blend of the two worlds, and even included architectural details from the Capitol.

When working with public advocacy efforts, we're often using symbols and icons that are already familiar to the audience. This logo allowed us to give a fresh spin on familiar elements to create an identity that's bold and optimistic to help a great cause.

For this project, we worked with a workforce development program housed with Mississippi Delta Community College. It had a long name - Community Collaboration for College & Careers, so we leaned into the C4 abbreviation and extended the language across the promotional materials. The logo shows a multi-sided approach and also lends itself to the honeycomb pattern used through the display type.

Superior Polymers manufactures a unique blend of PEEK polymer for high-performance industries, including spinal implant products. We created the spider-influenced icon to represent something that's light, flexible, and strong.

Fertility Preservation Trust is a legal practice for anyone undergoing IVF and freezing embryos. We wanted to communicate ideas of security and perpetual preservation. 

The center of the icon suggests embryos in a microscope; the outer ring communicates perpetual motion, preservation of embryos over time. The icon also connotes a safe — a strong, spinning combination lock. That strength, however, lends comfort. The overall design elements create a pretty, welcoming environment.

We love the opportunity to work with new organizations. In this case we worked on naming, tagline, and visual brand development. The result came together with a brand that helped the organization's launch event be perceived as a success. Launching with materials that look pulled together goes a long way towards achieving that early legitimacy.

Converge: Partners in Access

We were selected to redesign the identity for the Mississippi Arts Commission, a state agency that makes grants and provides support for arists and arts organizations in the state. 

Our goal was to create something that retained the authority of a state seal to symbolize the public commitment to the arts — one of Mississippi's strongest points of pride. We also wanted the identity to clearly belong to the world of art, and to work as an art object on its own. In addition, it needed to have elements of flexibility for a variety of applications: everything from a legislative funding report to the agency's arts-focused podcast.

Sterling Academy Branding

The Mississippi Public Health Institute (MSPHI) is a trusted thinktank, researcher, and grant program organization that completes public health projects across the state. As a public interest nonprofit outside of the state government system, the organization is often able to accomplish projects through innovation and agility. 

With their identity, we wanted to communicate that the organization is modern and innovative. The symbolism is warm and authentic to Mississippi's magnolia, but every treatment aspect of it is modern and fast. We particularly love how their folder and notecards turned out.

From the early stages of this project, the owners of Fondren Fitness gelled comfortably with our logo design process, helping to refine the idea of what the gym would be. We ultimately settled on something that feels welcoming and friendly, just like the experience at Fondren Fitness. Wier Boerner Allin, the architect-owners of the gym, created a hip and engaging space that improves the community, and the branding looks great on the wall and lit up at night. Our team enjoyed this project so much that we've all joined the gym!

The organization formerly known as the William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation enlisted us to help perform a rebranding process following the former governor's passing. We led a naming process that resulted in a new name - The Alluvial Collective - that speaks to the organization's rich history in Mississippi and its desire to plant seeds in fertile ground that will grow to an improved future for all of us.

We also created the logo in a way that emphasizes the first 3 letters of the new name - ALL - to open the conversation about the organization's mission "to end inequity based on difference by cultivating belonging and wholeness in the world.

Fannie Lou Hamer’s America is a documentary and school curriculum project led in part by Ms. Hamer’s own family. 

We developed a logo reminiscent of flyers distributed in Civil Rights-era Mississippi, the archival footage in the documentary, and race issues in general but with the energy and emotion that makes Ms. Hamer’s story vital for today.

District Drugs & Mercantile is Jackson's only independently-owned pharmacy. Located in a high-end space, District Drugs delights customers through friendly service, curated merchandise, and convenient amenities. The DD pill icon is a memorable way of addressing the name and industry, & the overall aesthetic promises a pleasant experience for customers.

MS Cold Drip’s monthly revenue is up 472%

 and they’re currently in the list of the top 5 products sold at Whole Foods Jackson and sold in regional Kroger locations.

Ray, the business owner, had been making and selling this product based on his mother's devotion to cold-brewed coffee. Their old packaging was too masculine and off-trend for a small batch artisanal product. Ray insisted on including a guitar, which led us to this engraving treatment. The product area is inspired by Mississippi craft quilts, and serves as a quick color system to differentiate between the offerings.

This is a great example of something that looks good but also has an immediate impact in sales. Ray reports that the phone is ringing off the hook from national retailers who want to carry this product. The system linking the products has been effective as well, and the products alongside the coffee have especially enjoyed increased sales.

This project was brought to us by the Millsaps College ElseWorks business consulting program. The team did all the work in locating and pricing the cool whiskey-style bottles.
